Flash Drive with Infinite Storage??

Just splashed out on a very nice 128GB flash drive? What a waste – they’re out of date! “Infinite” is the new memory capacity you’re looking for. That’s right, you heard it here first – flash drives with infinite storage space. Read on!

Infinitec have announced their new flash drive with infinite memory. However, they are lying a bit – the flash drive isn’t really a flash drive – instead, you plug the device into your computer and connect it to your WiFi network and it will locate all the hard drive spaces available to it and utilise them as its own space, creating a sort of “cloud-based flash drive”. …

Apple’s Earnings Released Crushing Estimates and iPad Sales Soar

iPads, iPods, iPhones, Macs and iTunes oh my Jobs! Apple released first quarter results that surprised and beat the street with profit up $6.43 a share which was up from $3.67 last year and even beat Cramer’s “wild high” estimate of $6. Sales dramatically increased from $15.683B from a year ago to $26.74B this past quarter.

How could this happen? After all my partner mentioned:

This isn’t going to be a device that everyone wants or needs. If you’re already a laptop owner, you’re probably not foaming at the mouth for one of these. Sure a touchscreen is nice, but is it nicer than having Flash support in your Web browser?

iHolder iPad Stand Holds iPad up like an iMac monitor

iHolder iPad Stand
iHolder iPad Stand

Ever since the iPad came out I’ve asked myself “can I replace my computer with it?”. Until now, the answer has been no, but with a stand that seems dedicated to turning the iPad into a monitor/iMac it’s becoming more of a reality.

Of course I’m still going to need some more power than 1Ghz and a larger screen, but this doesn’t do a bad job.

The creatively-titled “iHolder iPad Stand’ can hold your iPad (!) at 3 different viewing angles for your comfort. The stand has cutouts so all the necessary ports are available for use, and is compatible with both the WiFi and 3G models.

Digipower’s solid, no frills Dual USB Charger

When you’re out and about it can be hard not having access to a USB socket to charge up your gizmos. Here we’ve got Digipower’s dual-USB battery pack which can charge 2 USB devices at the same time from its stored charge.

All you need to do to get going is plug the Digipack to your AC socket and let the electrical juice flow. Recharging from this can be done an estimated 500 times before the device will start to fail, not bad for under $30.

Doxie’s Portable Scanner Encourages a Digital Life

One of the biggest thing stopping us from transferring our lives fully into the digital world is that some things still reach us via paper. Scanning them all in individually is a hassle when you’re using a bulky printer too.

The solution? Doxie – a small, portable scanner that allows you to scan various documents no matter where you are (almost) and upload them to your computer or online document service (such as Google Docs) via USB cable. …

CES 2011: Dell shows off 7″ Streak tablet. Could be a 10″ later too

Dell Streak 7 Android tabletYup, we’re featuring yet another tablet, but let’s face it – that’s the hot product this year kicked off of course by the iPad last year. This time it’s the Dell Streak 7, a 4G tablet that will run T-Mobile’s 4G network.

As the name implies, the Streak 7 is a 7″ tablet with a multi-touch 800×480 screen, Android (of course), Adobe Flash Player (suck on that Apple), WiFi, and front- and rear-facing cameras. Runs on the now very popular Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, and has 16GB of storage expandable via SD cards.

There’s a Streak 10 (a 10″ version) that may make an appearance later this year. And of course, you can get the 5″ Dell Streak mini (on AT&T) for $99 with a 2-year contract.
