Just when you thought no one could reinvent the watch, PHOSPHOR Watches did it. Instead of having a hand ticking round, or an LCD screen on your watch, PHOSPHOR use E-Ink to display the time.
The watches work by passing positive and negative charges over particles so that they produce a pattern, in this case the time. Full science details here. This makes them quite unique, and they look pretty good too. Pricing is an issue – they vary from $200 to $250.
