nPower Peg Charges While You Walk

A lot of energy we use while going about our daily lives is wasted. When we charge up our phones and iPods we have to pay for the energy we use.

nPower has come up with their nPower PEG (Power Energy Generator) which offers a bridge between the two activities. All you do is pop the PEG in your backpack as you’re walking around, and the kinetic energy you generate charges up the battery inside it. You can then plug the PEG into your phone or iPod and let the juice flow.

We’re pretty sure memory sticks exist that have parts of them that glow in the dark, but MyZipZip, a company specialising in brick-shaped memory sticks, has come up what we think is the first fully glow in the dark one. Styled like a LEGO brick (although the designers claim it isn’t…), every last inch of the stick glows in the dark when the case is on.

Microsoft’s ‘Bendy’ Arc Touch Mouse is Comfortable and Portable

Microsoft’s Arc Touch Mouse looks more like something Apple should be producing (except in white, of course). The key selling point is the flexibility – the mouse comes flat, and to switch it on you squeeze the mouse into an arc shape. Scrolling is by touch, so you can flick and whizz around webpages and documents in seconds.

Each movement you make on the touch-enabled scroll surface can do different things according to applications making it more versatile that an ordinary mouse. BlueTrack technology means you can use this mouse almost anywhere too.
