3) Apple’s A4 chip powers the new iPhone which was designed by Apple’s own team. With a bigger battery and the A4 chip providing better power management, the new iPhone results in 40% more talk time on 3G from 5 to 7 hours, 6 hours of 3G browsing and 10 hours of WiFi browsing not to mention 300 hours of standby, 40 hours of music and 10 hours of video. The new design also has dual mics for noise cancelation, 802.11N, GPS+accelerator+compass, etc…
4) Gyroscope has been added into the iPhone providing 3 axis gyro and 6 axis motion sensing with new CoreMotion APIs that should open up some incredible new apps (and games). Job’s demoed with a Jenga-like game showing precise movements and a way to rotate that you can’t get with just an accelerometer.
