Acoustic Magic Voice Tracker Kit w/USB Adapter

Acoustic Magic Voice Tracker Kit w/USB Adapter

I gave up on my voice-activated home automation system a couple years ago as both my blood pressure and volume of my voice would continue to climb but the damn office light wouldn’t dim as I commanded. I felt like the boss at the end of the first show of The IT Crowd (brilliant British sitcom about geeks).

Anyway, the Acoustic Magic Voice Tracker Array Microphone automatically locates and electronically steers toward you when you talk allowing you to move around during a speech or teleconference -OR- in my case you can use the Microphone to control your home automation system whether you’re home or not.

The included USB adapter lets you take full advantage of HomeSeer Automation Software: Plug the adapter into your computer’s port, and use voice commands to control your home automation system.

Harmony 1000 Universal Remote w/ Color Touchscreen

If you’re a regular reader of our site, you’ll know we love the Harmony universal remotes from Logitech. This particular one does not disappoint. It’s a bit different from the others that have the standard form-factor of an A/V remote, can be held in one hand and with lots of buttons. It’s more like a game controller or a Nintendo DS, with a 3.5″ color touchscreen.

Digital Keysafe

Digital Keysafe

About twenty Christmas seasons ago I got off my elementary school bus and walked home only to discover I forgot to bring my keys to school and I was locked out of the house. To be honest, my brothers and I had forgotten our keys quite a few times, so we started leaving one of our living room windows unlocked to “break in”. The reason I remember forgetting my keys that day in December is due to the fact the window we kept unlocked was in front of the Christmas tree.

Long story short, it would have been nice having something like the Digital Keysafe as I probably would not have knocked over the Christmas tree while climbing through the window that day!

By the way, there are cheaper analog cousins including: Stor-A-Key ($3.99), Locking Stor-A-Key ($9.99) and a Portable Locking Stor-A-Key ($11.99)
