“12 Gizmos of Christmas”: #4 – Video Game Console

Gaming consoles are super hot this year with the next generation of consoles starting to come out with the advent of the Xbox 360. The other larger consoles are the same consoles being sold over the past couple of years with no technology changes (XBox, Gamecube, and PS2).

Making a splash in the console market since last Christmas are the handhelds however. The PSP leads the pack as the most advanced while the Game Boy Micro is a great value as well as the DS.

If you want to make a geek happy this Christmas, get them a video game console!

Xbox 360

If you already don’t have one and are not willing to pay over $800 or $1000 on ebay, forget about it! As usual every Christmas, the hotest video game console that comes out has been under-produced and over-hyped creating a frenzy of having to have the Xbox 360 before Christmas. Give an IOU and let your gamer fanatic get one plus a few games AFTER Christmas.

From the demos we’ve seen though, the Xbox 360 is sexy for sure…
