Here’s another very useful gadget from Kensington, particularly if you’re a road warrior that spends any amount of time in hotels. This is geared for those homes with those consoles but no media center, media streamer or PC attached to their AV centers. The Media Xporter Drive comes with software that can help you convert your multimedia content for perfect display on your game console. It supports formats such as QuickTime, AVI, VOB, JPG, MP3 and more.

Of course, the Media Xporter Drive is at heart still a hard drive, so feel free to use it just like that too!

This is nice small and neat. It’s a USB 2.0 Bluetooth dongle, ideal for your laptop or even your desktop if you need some BT connectivity (perhaps you have a BT headset for Skype).

This little guy uses a Broadcom 2405 chipset, is Bluetooth 1.2/2.0 compliant, works on MS Vista, and has a range of about 10m.

Nexcopy USB Flash Drive Duplicator

The USB Duplicator by Nexcopy is an interesting product to say the least. Granted it wouldn’t apply to the average consumer, but it does have it’s place. In addition, I would say USB flash drives are the #1 most under-rated promotional item business’ have missed out on, so I can see why this product is coming to marketing. Get your company logo branded on there, load her up with data, sales material, promotional videos, tutorials…I could go on and on…

SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition USB Flash Drive Welcome to the Ducati of USB sticks… from Ducati. With a fast, 20MB/second transfer rate and a large 4GB capacity, this flash drive has the speed and capacity to work for most people.

So why so expensive? The flash drive was designed in an industrial look echoing “the performance, colors and lines of a Ducati MotoGP motorcycle.” I’m sure someone will buy it, but I can get a 500GB drive that would be faster (and much bigger) for about the same price!

USB Duplicator Nexcopy announced earlier this week their USB200PC USB Duplicator is available for purchase providing an economical and easy way to allow companies to dupe their own flash memory sticks. Copying from a master location, you can make quick work of 20 dupes of a flash drive allowing small and large companies to provide sales staff with literature on a flash drive for sales calls or a trade show or provide engineering staff and consultants the ability to bring the latest version of the product to upgrade on site (this seems to be the preferred method as several products I deal with send a consultant with USB in hand for upgrades).

The software used with the Nexcopy USB200PC USB duplicator not only dupes flash drives but has an option to duplicate only new and newer data meaning you don’t have to over-write current data on the flash drive. This function also updates an old file with the newer version. This feature in itself makes USB drive flash management extremely easy and convenient.
