Lik-Sang reports that only the Crystal White Nintendo DS Lite will be released March 2nd while the Ice Blue and Enamel Navy will not be released until March 11th.
Nintendo DS Lite pre-orders are exceeding expectations around Japan and at Lik-Sang (a game exporter from Hong Kong), and the rumor is that only 130,000 to 280,000 Nintendo DS Lite systems will be available via the first manufactured cycle. This seems to be a typical trend in the console market raising the demand of the first supply of a console but perhaps angering many consumers who, for example, all of a sudden have to pay over $1000 for an Xbox 360 right before Christmas!
