BlindType mobile virtual keyboard makes type^Hing ridiculously easy

Start this post by watching the video above. Whenever such cool, amazing and dare we say revolutionary apps/technology like this comes along, we’re compelled to blog about them. And BlindType fits the bill.

BlindType is a typing technology that replaces your standard mobile keyboard on Android and iPhones. More on the iPhone bit later. It makes typing using its virtual keyboard remarkably accurate and corrects even the most absurd mistakes. Let’s put it this way – you can even type with the virtual keyboard invisible!

You will have seen this in the demo video, but the keyboard can be resized, re-oriented at various angles and you could be off by multiple keys and BlindType still comes up aces.

Oh yes, Google just acquired BlindType, so expect to see this show up in a future version of Android. Now, regarding iPhones: although they’ve developed this with both Android and iOS in mind, it remains to be seen whether Apple will allow an app that replaces their default keyboard. Stay tuned.
