The MVIX MV-5000U is in basic terms an HTPC allowing you to display movies, home videos, music and digital photo files through your TV or home-theater system. A couple differences MVIX provides over other scaled down but all-in-one home theater systems include the ability to put in your own hard drive (any size you want), MVIX also sells a DC or Car pack so you can bring this HTPC on the road with you!
MVIX also sells a MV-4000U version that does not have a LCD screen OR FM Transmitter for $50 less if you don’t need those items. This is a perfect option for those not wanting a full sized HTPC (computer) in your home theater or family room.
