AT&T- Motorola Atrix 4G
The Motorola Atrix 4G is an Android powered smartphone that runs exclusively on AT&T. It features a dual core 1-GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, and 1-GB of RAM. The Atrix was one of the first dual core smartphones in the Untied States and it is still one of the most powerful phones available anywhere. The HTC Sensation 4G is an Android powered smartphone being released next month on T-Mobile. It features a 1.2-GHz dual core processor and 1-GB of RAM. The Sensation 4G is the first phone in the US to use sense 3.0, which includes a new visually entertaining 3D scrolling UI. The smartphone features a 4.3-inch QHD LCD and an 8 mega-pixel camera capable of HD video capture. The Sensation 4G makes up for its lack of gimmicks in pure power. This is the most powerful phone currently available in the US and features the radios required to take advantage of T-Mobiles 4G network. Pricing has yet to be confirmed but it’s rumored to cost $200 on contract and be available in early June.
Sprint- The Nexus S 4G
The Nexus S 4G is an Android powered smartphone developed by Samsung for Sprint. It features a 1-GHz single-core Humming bird processor and 512-MBs of RAM. The phone sports a 4-inch super AMOLED display and features a 5 mega-pixel camera capable of HD video. While the Nexus S 4G has specs that are somewhat outdated compared to the other carriers, it’s the only phone on this list that is running pure Android. That means it will receive new updates faster than any other Android phone. The Nexus S 4G has the radios to take advantage of Sprint’s expansive WiMax network. The phone is available for $250 directly from Sprint.
Verizon- Samsung Droid Charge
The Droid Charge is an Android powered smartphone created by Samsung exclusively for Verizon. It features a 1-GHz single-core Humming bird processor and 512-MBs of RAM. The Droid Charge sports an absolutely stunning 4.3 inch super AMOLED plus display, which is the most advanced display available on any smartphone. It also features an 8 mega-pixel camera that’s capable of shooting HD video. What makes the charge a better future proof option than the dual core powered Droid X2 is it’s ability to take advantage of Verizon’s stunningly fast 4G LTE network. The Droid Charge is available directly from Verizon for $299.
