Almost every store seems to have their own loyalty card systems today where you can sign up for a card that’s supposedly going to save you money (even if it is in the long run). The problem with these cards is that they only work for individual shops, meaning you need to carry a wedge of them around with you to be anywhere near effective.
That’s where the Cardmobili app comes in – it allows you to save all your reward cards onto your phone for use at the till.
It falls into the category of things that make you go “Why didn’t I think of that?”
All it does is create the image of your barcode from your card on your phone ready for scanning. With high quality screens this is really a very simple application. However, it only works with the reward/membership programs it is currently partnered with. While this is already a large number, it might not be able to get rid of all the loyalty and rewards cards in your wallet just yet. A step in the right direction, however!
