After use, wipe the manual or electric toothbrush to remove all moisture, put the DRY toothbursh into this IZAP UV Toothbrush Sanitizer, close the case door which automatically turns on the ‘killer ultra-violet light bulb’, and the job of killing e. coli, salmonella, strep, lysteria, pseudomonas, and other unspecified germs is done in only 6 minutes. Then the bulb automatically turns off. The container also functions as a closed toothbrush storage area for one toothbrush. BTW the case comes with one nice toothbrush with medium soft bristles.
