If you love pineapple like I do, this gizmo is required! I personally love this gizmo and it works like a charm allowing you to purchase an entire pineapple and after cutting the top and bottom off you simply twist this gizmo which cores and slices the pineapple very easily. Also, the Pineapple Easy Slicer cuts the pineapple away from the skin in the same twisting motion. One of the most simple gizmos, but well worth the money!
Slice the top off the pineapple and select one of the three corers, based on the size of the fruit. Screw in the Pineapple Easy Slicer, and when you remove it in one easy action, it will bring the edible portion of the pineapple along with it in a single long slice, leaving the messy juice in the rind. The Pineapple Easy Slicer is even dishwasher-safe!
Use the small slicer on pineapples less than three pounds. The medium slicer will work for pineapples three to five pounds in weight; the large slicer can handle larger fruit.
