Kenmore Stainless Steel Electric Induction Cooktop

Kenmore Stainless Steel Electric Induction Cooktop

How cool is this (pardon the pun)! This stovetop uses electromagnetic induction to heat only the pots and pans made of steel or iron, and nothing else. So you can ‘accidentally’ place your hands on it with adverse side-effects. Of course, be careful not to touch the hots pots and pans! Although these are more expensive than the average cooktop, it uses less energy and is easier to clean. The Kenmore model features Pan Detection, Pan Size Detection, Hold Warm, Power Boost , cooktop ‘ON’ indicator lights and Cooktop Lockout.

Features:

  • Stylish, easy-to-clean ceramic glass cooktop with stainless steel trim
  • 4 induction elements include a 10″, 8″, 7″ and 6″ element for added cooking flexibility
  • Precision Touchâ„¢ controls with 15 touch settings
  • Power Boost setting allows faster heating times while using less energy
  • Pan detection coil sensor automatically detects a proper cooking utensil
  • Pan size detection sensor detects and adapts the element to the pan size
  • Control lockout and auto cooktop shutoff (18 hours) for added safety and peace of mind
  • Keep Warm setting allows you to keep food at precisely the temperature after it’s done
