7.1-megapixel: The Canon PowerShot SD550 digital ELPH camera delivers pictures with 7.1-megapixel resolution. You can create brilliant 4″ x 6″ photos or blow images up to poster size.

Zoom: The 3x optical zoom lets you get up close before you take your shot, and the additional 4x digital zoom lets you enlarge the details before or after shooting.

2.5″ LCD: Frame your shot, review images and access the menu using the large 2.5″ LCD screen.

Shooting modes: Multiple scene modes let you set your camera to the shooting conditions. There’s no need to adjust the camera manually—just choose a mode and start shooting. Modes include portrait, foliage, beach, underwater, fireworks, night snapshot, kids and pets, indoor and snow.

Color correction: This camera lets you customize and touch-up colors in real time—emphasize your favorite colors right on your LCD screen.

Movie mode: When a snapshot just isn’t enough, you can record video clips directly to your memory card.
