Beetle ZipConnect Speaker System for iPod or MP3 Player

Beetle ZipConnect Speaker System for iPod or MP3 Player

This ZipConnect speaker system is modeled after a Volkswagen Beetle convertible; it holds your iPod or MP3 player in the rear seat. Being a ZipConnect system, you can connect to practically any MP3 player or iPod using the ZipConnect modules. One ZipConnect module with an 18-inch retractable cable is included for free with the system. The Beetle itself has working headlamps and taillights with stereo speakers hidden in the wheels, and also features an AM/FM digital tuner with 20 presets and a control panel hidden under the hood. The windshield LCD features 12/24 time, a snooze alarm clock and a sleep timer.

Features:

  • All ZipConnectâ„¢ speaker systems include a FREE ZipConnect module (with convenient retractable 18-inch cable and mini stereo plug) for playing any iPod, MP3, portable CD or satellite radio — any audio source with a headphone jack!
  • The universal FREE ZipConnect module is interchangeable with available Made for iPod modules that charge as they play.
  • New Beetleâ„¢ convertible has working headlamps and taillights with stereo speakers hidden in the wheels.
  • Slide your iPod or MP3 into the stand and it looks like your Beetle’s hauling a surfboard to the beach!
  • Features an AM/FM digital tuner with 20 presets and a control panel hidden under the hood. The windshield LCD features 12/24 time, a snooze alarm clock and a sleep timer.

  1. I need a Zipconnect module for an iPod nano 2nd generation for the VW Beetle clock radio system. Mine no longer charges the ipod. Can you sell me one or tell me where to find one? Thanks, John

  2. Thanks so much , I orded one online. I had called Sharper Image direct and the customer service rep I spoke with told me they didn’t carry them any more. Some customer service huh!!!! Thanks again. John

  3. Now that Sharper Image has gone out of business, will this product be on the market elsewhere? Would you happen to know if I can still purchase it? Thanks, Sharon

  4. I have no doubt that those products (short of the ones that Sharper Image actually made themselves) will show up in popular outlets. As for SI, they haven’t gone completely out of business. Their online store is still around, although it’s currently going through some kind of renovation/change.
