Backup Pal is a standalone gadget for backing up your Blackberry, Motorola, Samsung, & Nokia cell phone(s). Support for numerous other brands is in the works. Simply attach the correct adapter to the end of the Backup Pal cable, plug into your cell phone and hit the button. Backup Pal saves a copy of your phone’s contact list, which is arguably the most important data on your phone. Of course, if you have a smartphone, then chances are you use it for much more and need to take additional steps to backup the rest of that data.

I wonder if this works with the Motorola Krave? It would be sweet to have a one touch back up option for me since I’m so clumsy. I haven’t got a Krave yet, but it’s at the top of my holiday wish list ever since I saw it online at Motorola.com/krave. I’ve been a fan of the touch screen display and 2 mega pixel camera ever since I started working with Motorola. It is definitely a top contender this year.
