CES 2011: ASUS shows off new Eee laptops and slates

ASUS logoASUS has a new set of very cool-looking laptops in their Eee line.

First is the Eee Pad MeMO which has 7″ touch screen and will run Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and comes with a stylus for writing.

The Eee Pad Transformer is a 10.1″ touchscreen with an NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU. It will also run Android 3.0 and has an interesting dock option so you can separate the screen from the keyboard.

The Eee Pad MeMO has a 7-inch capacitive screen powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ mobile processor and will ship with Android® 3.0 (Honeycomb) featuring HD playback capabilities, mobile gaming, an exciting Web experience and is accompanied by a stylus pen for taking handwritten notes.

The Eee Pad Slider is the one that I really like. Also, a 10.1″ IPS touchscreen, but the screen can slide on top of the keyboard to turn it into a tablet.

There is also a 12″ version, the Eee Slate EP121 (pictured above). It has a 64GB SSD drive, an Intel Core i5 processor and runs Windows 7.
