RadioShack has expanded their electronics trade-in program to included about 4400 of their stores. Bring in your old electronics for a gift card redeemable at RS. Good for RadioShack and good for the environment as the electronics you bring in don’t end up in a landfill but get recycled instead.
RadioShack joins the other eco-conscious companies that have recycling programs.
Wow, that was fast. Launched in Nov 08, Panasonic’s nationwide consumer electronics recycling program already has over 300 locations in 50 states. Well done Panasonic.

Panasonic Corporation of North America recently joined the growing list of environmentally conscious corporate citizens who have launched electronics recycling programs.

News came out today that Blockbuster offered to buy out Circuit City at a premium over their then valuation. Beats me why they would do this. CC turned them down (also another head-scratcher), b/c they said they were unsure about the financing.
Why isn’t Blockbuster going after Netflix. Seems that their biggest problem.
