Yep, I think this gadget is calling my name. The SLEEPTRACKER is a relatively new product from Innovative Sleep Solutions that monitors your movement during the night and will set off an alarm when it detects that you’re almost awake. The SLEEPTRACKER is actually a sporty digital wristwatch with a motion sensor built into it. Once you set the time window within which you wish to be awoken, the SLEEPTRACKER will monitor your motion and sound the alarm when you stir, the idea being that when you’re in the deep stages of sleep, you don’t really move around as much. As much as I have difficulty waking up in the morning, I probably need to try out this product. If I do, I’ll be sure to test it out fully and post a review to Gizmos for Geeks.
The SLEEPTRACKER records all of the times during the night that you entered a light stage of sleep. This is useful in determining your sleep cycles and can lead to your being able to ‘guide’ your nights, to obtain better sleep. The SLEEPTRACKER also functions quite nicely as a basic digital watch, complete with a regular alarm, and smooth corners like a sports watch should have.
