If you’re into gadgets and gizmos, there’s a pretty good probability that you’re into SciFi, and if you’re into SciFi, then you should be into Stargate SG-1, and if you’re not, hop over to Amazon and start picking up those DVDs now because you’re missing out on a great show! Anyway, as you may already know, the SciFi channel decided to cancel the show for some vague reasons. Not long after that, the good folks over at the Save Stargate SG-1 campaign stood up their website and started collecting donations in order to fund their campaign. They’ve already been able to place an ad in Variety magazine. So if you’d like to see this show continue its glorious run, head over to the campaign, write a letter and make a donation (anything helps).
In case you don’t already watch the show, let me put it this way: I can’t think of another show that I’d watch instead of SG-1 if I had to make such a choice. Give it a shot – you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Try to catch some of the older episodes too with Richard Dean Anderson’s character in it.
