Duke University to continue with their iPod Program

Duke University has decided to continue their pilot project of giving away an Apple iPod to freshers entering the University to help them make use of the gadget in their work assignments and language classes. They would in fact now cover not only the freshers but also all the class levels.

However, the giveaway this time would be in a more organized manner as only the students of the courses who would benefit from this device would be covered under the program. Last year, they distributed almost around 1600 iPods to their first year students. The student owns the iPod as the college pays for it out of a special technology fund.
