Virtually all-home theater displays offer their owners visual menu adjustment sliders to improve their picture. But consumers often find these controls complicated and confusing. The SpyderTV colorimeter takes advantage of the four adjustment sliders that are available on virtually all TV’s and provide the user with a cleaner picture and a more enjoyable viewing experience.

If you want to get the best image possible from your TV you need to have key parameters (brightness, contrast, color, etc.) calibrated on a regular basis. A technician can run you anywhere from $200 to over $500 per visit. The SpyderTV which will probably be in the $200-$300 range.

The 3-legged SpyderTV colorimeter attaches to your TV with suction cups and then to your Windows 2000/XP laptop via USB where software helps you automatically adjust brightness, contrast, color, tint, and (on some) color temperature for the best picture.
