Body Fat Manager with Body Mass Index Calculator

Sharper Image Design’s innovative new Body Fat Manager brings a personal fitness trainer to the palm of your hand. This pocket-size, gym-ready electronic device quickly and easily estimates and displays your Body Fat Percentage. What’s more, it helps you to set and achieve fitness goals by tracking targeted calories gained and lost through eating and exercise to achieve a healthier Body Mass Index (ratio of weight to your height) and Body Fat Percentage.

Simply enter your height, weight, age and gender into the Body Fat Manager (BFM); then place both thumbs on the plates to instantly see your Body Fat Percentage (BFP) and your automatically-calculated Body Mass Index (BMI). You’ll get recommendations for a healthier BMI (weight) and BFP with targeted daily calorie intake (food) and calories burned through regular activity and exercise.

Clip the BFM to a pocket or waistband to continuously estimate the calories burned and net calories gained or lost throughout your entire day. Program your BFM to achieve your healthy-weight goals over a 30-, 60- or 90-day timeframe.

  1. for this compact body fat monitor do you have generic instructions at all to see if i can hack this – even if its generic and not the full ones. Or even copy anything to see if its too complicated for me – some are too hard. can you help me?

    1. I tried recently to get a electronic version of the owner's manual but the company filed for bankruptcy. Now what do I do?

    1. I tried both suggestions but still no luck. Sharperimage.com kind of gave me the run around largely to do with the company filing bankrupcy. The "new sharper image company" seems to not want to have anything to do with there old products and services because they want to lose there affiliation i guess.
Have any other ideas as where to find a downloadable manual for this product?

      1. Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, it's so easy to produce electronics today, that many vendors don't do a good job of making sure their products have a very long lifecycle, particularly in the area of documentation.

I would just put out some feelers on the Internet (like you did here) and hope for the best.
