When Watches Shop sent me the Ballistic Extreme watch for review I was thinking here’s my chance to really beat on a product to see if it lives up to the hype. In case you’re wondering if I meant ‘beat on’ euphemistically, read on!
So the Ballistic line of watches have the claim to fame of being virtually unbreakable – shatterproof, scratchproof, and tough enough to be run over by a truck.
I had a difficult time in doing the ‘tests’ since the watch was so eye catching. The watch in question was the Ballistic Extreme with the black dial (model #BWE101). The weight of the watch alone told me that it would stand up to a pounding. The casing and band made of stainless steel gives the watch a regal look along with the locking clasp which will keep the watch on your hand during any collision. …
