by Khalid Hosein on May 28, 2010

Flexible screens are within touching distance. Sony has just shown off an 3.5″x2″ OLED screen that is so flexible, they can roll it around a pencil.

The resolution is a very respectable 432×240 pixels with a full 16 million colors. The material is based on an organic thin-film transistor (OTFT) that can not only be rolled, but stretched as well.
