RunMyProcess Launches Gmail Shared Inbox Plugin

Cloud-based provider of business services, RunMyProcess, has an interesting new product/service that allows multiple users in a hosted Gmail environment to see a common inbox.

Called the Shared Inbox, this plugin is perfect for a support/trouble ticket inbox that has to be monitored by multiple employees.

While we don’t usually feature enterprise type gadgets or software, this is a nice example of why Gmail has taken web-based e-mail messaging by storm. While they’re not #1 (yet?), features like this, Gmail Labs, and the ability for 3rd-party services to plug-in give Google that very possible potential.

  1. I can't find the plugin on either Google Apps Marketplace or on the RunMyProcess website. Can I get the link please.

    1. Fahim – unfortunately, this is a plugin for enterprise users of Gmail, not individual users who use Gmail for free (@ gmail.com).

    1. Hi Matthieu – just in case you're referring to us as the site that did not respect an embargo, allow us to defend ourselves. We received a PR dated Mar 30 from an Amy M at SS|PR and did not publish this story until Apr 4. In fact, we even went so far as to inform Amy via email when the story was to run.

We would be happy to forward you both the email thread and the PR we were sent. Just shoot us an e-mail.
      Best,
