MIT-originated aeronautics-cum-auto company Terrafugia is working on a small plane that is also street-legal. The most notable thing is that it could become available to regular consumers by the end of 2009.
The product, called the Transition (pictured), has 10ft wide wings that can fold up. It will cost just under $200k and run on gasoline.

its good but it wont be worth of everyone i think they should try adding some more features like a vertical take off cause if you are stuck in new york traffic someday make a vertical take off and get out of there
its already on the air looks promising and worth trying
Its a good thought but the looks of this flying car is not nice I think it needs some modificatios
