Windows XP downgrade rights extended to Jul 31 2009
What a difference 6 months make. Back in March, we posted about Windows XP nearing its death, but Microsoft has just bent some more to the pressure and announced that manufacturers can continue selling Vista with ‘downgrade’ rights, which amounts to yes, they can sell WinXP until Jul 31.
This is welcome news for those IT shops that have been putting off the inevitable. Thanks Microsoft.
