Netflix’s set-top box is a hit – sells out

Posted Jun 12th, 2008 by Chief Gadgeteer

Netflix’s brand new set-top box has sold out and Netflix is pushing maker Roku to step up production. The $100 box allows Netflix customers to see movies downloaded over the Internet, instead of having to wait for the movies to be delivered via traditional mail.

Netflix is also looking to get their service embedded in/partnered with other service, one notable rumored partner being Microsoft and their Xbox gaming console.

Netflix offers a free trial of their movie rental service if you’re interested.
