Oral-B Triumph 9100 with remote SmartGuide

Oral-B has put out yet another superior model in their Triumph line of power toothbrushes. Recall that we loved the Triumph 9400 series when we reviewed it and still regard it highly. The Triumph 9910 adds a great tool – the remote SmartGuide Monitor, which is a mini color LCD screen that provides real-time feedback on your brushing, by obtaining data wirelessly from the handle itself.

The SmartGuide display tells you which quadrant of your mouth you should be brushing – remember 30 seconds per quadrant! The SmartGuide doesn’t stop there – it adds the very first real-time feedback on if you’re brushing (pressing) too hard. Brushing too hard can be damaging to your gums, and can lead ot gum recession. SmartGuide lets you know when to replace your brushhead and gives a visual indication of what mode the brush is in (clean, massage, polish or sensitive mode).

If you’ve been on the fence about getting an electric toothbrush, now is an even better time to get one as Oral-B has made it even easier to avoid those painful dentist visits altogether. I love my Triumph 9400, but the SmartGuide is very tempting indeed.

Price: Starts at $129
