Converting Algae into Jet Fuel

Airbus and Honeywell are working on a technology to convert algae and other vegetation into a biofuel that can be used to power airplanes. Their hope is to have this serve as 1/3 of the fuel demand by 2030.

Also invovled are Jet Blue Airways and Internation Aero Engines, a multinational consortium. Here’s to their success.
