World of Warcraft Hits 10 Million Subscribers
At a minimum of $13/mo, that’s a cool $130 million/month for Blizzard. Now I’m sure they spend a pretty penny every month to run the servers and pound out updates, but even if they spent $10 million/month, they’re definitely raking it in, and it’s one hell of a return.
By the way, if you live in Europe or the US and think you guys game, think again. Asia has more WoW players (5.5 million) as Europe and the States put together (4.5 million).
