Samsung’s Dual HD Player Will Be Available in Time for Christmas
Even though Amazon.com listing for Samsung’s BD-UP5000 says the dual-format high-definition disc player won’t be available until January 15, 2008, a spokesperson at Samsung mentioned that the player will reach the market in “mid-to-late December” and that the units are shipping currently so they should be available for retail purchase later this month.
As an extra bonus, Samsung cut the manufacturer-advertised price by $200 to $799.
