USBCell - Rechargeable Battery via USB
I ran across an interesting USB-based technology today that a fellow gadget blogger posted: it’s a battery that’s rechargeable via a USB port. The USBCell, as it’s called, is made by a British company, Moxia Energy, and all you have to do is pop the cover on the battery and stick it into a USB port. Nifty. I do wonder if it suffers from the problems that conventional rechargeables have, what its lifetime is (max # of recharges), whether it delivers steady voltage, etc.
