Interactive Podcasts
The folks at Waxxi may disagree, but I imagine that sooner or later podcasting would have evolved into or at least had an offshoot that was more interactive in nature as opposed to the current uni-directional flow it currently takes. As you may have guessed, Waxxi is the company that has started producing and presenting interactive podcasts where listeners can call in or IM during the podcast, quite like a call-in radio show. Waxxi takes it one more step and encourages listeners to congregate and carry on the ‘conversation’ in forums after the show. Naturally, the podcast will be moderated so that doesn’t become a shouting match and even transcripts will be provided afterwards.
