Households with teens have more gadgets
Got teens in the house? Then your household probably has 11 more gadgets on average than one without teenagers, 35 with versus 24 without. Top purchases for the youth-filled home are MP3 players, wireless handsets and video game consoles. The average amount of money also goes up for these households too, from $1,000 last year for non-teen households to nearly $1,500. But who’s really surprised at these numbers?
