Air France To Test In-Flight Cell Phone Use
I’m still on the fence about this whole cell phone on the plane thing, especially as I’m not a huge believer in people’s ability to regulate themselves, but at any rate, Air France is set to receive an Airbus retrofitted with a mini GSM network. They will test it out for 6 months in Europe and on trips to North African cities. Boeing has had an in-flight service called Connexion for some time now, but only on international flights and not within the U.S.
