Microsoft to Digitize 100,000 Books
Microsoft and the British Library have announced a deal to have Microsoft digitalize 100,000 books from the British Library. This comes on the heels of Google finally opening their doors to print.google.com which is a similar undertaking.
Microsoft learned from Google’s issues and announced that only the oldest sections of the British Library will be digitalized so publishers will not get their feathers ruffled.
