Gizmondo Launches Oct 22 in the US
Tiger’s long-awaited Gizmondo handheld game system will finally ship on October 22 in the US. Although, the unit has been available in the UK for almost a year, the US launch has already been delayed once before, so you may not want to hold your breath this time either. $399 gets you a new one that comes in a few different colors, while $229 gets you a Gizmondo with ads. It will ship with 12 games and the company says that 90 games are to be introduced by the end of the year. I’ll believe that when I see it!
