Rumor: Google to Launch WiFi Service
Google is up to it again. Rumor has it that they are going to launch their own WiFi service. Now, granted the source of these rumors actually come from several pages on their website! One of those pages offers a free download of something called Google Secure Access which from the FAQ page says that it secures your wireless connection.
Google has not commented on this at all, and I wonder what they could really be up to. Perhaps they are just trying to help with a security problem that has existed with a technology (wirless networking) that has really taken hold with the general public, but who generally don’t know how to deal with it.
