Remember Kozmo.com? MaxDelivery.com is its Successor
The headline says most of what you need to know, except that MaxDelivery is trying to not repeat the mistakes that Kozmo made. They will have a lot of firsthand knowledge as the former CTO of Kozmo.com, Chris Siragusa, is heading up MaxDelivery. It’ll be cool to have a Kozmo-like delivery service out there, but one of the mistakes that Kozmo made that made it ‘cool’ was how cheap it was. Delivery was offered for a pack of gum for next to nothing if not free. But the upside is that if MaxDelivery becomes and stays profitable, it will stick around.
So if you live in the New York area, check out MaxDelivery.com. Sorry non-New Yorkers, but MaxDelivery is playing it smart and growing at a manageable pace.
