Robot assists in filling prescriptions

“Windy” begins her job at 7 a.m. inside an octagonal room at The Medical Center. Over the next two hours, she will process 1,500 medications for distribution the next day. At lighting speed, her three-foot arm does the job of two people. “Windy” is no human; she is a McKesson Robot Rx, the latest technology in pharmacy services at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
