The Leapster Multimedia Learning system teaches the way your child loves to play. Equipped with the interactive Leapster system and a library of skill-building Leapster Learning books, children can play action-packed learning games, read electronic storybooks, create works of art and watch educational videos. Students play while they learn essential Pre-K through 2nd grade skills that include: reading, math, critical and creative thinking, story comprehension, vocabulary and much more. Kids control all the action using a multi-directional control pad or a touch-sensitive stylus.

The Leapster comes with a bonus cartridge with six learning games. System is full-color and features a backlit screen for easy viewing, plus a headphone jack for quiet play. Other Leapster cartridges sold separately. Requires 4 “AA” alkaline batteries (not included).
